At MT Talent, we're seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for installing, programming, verifying, and inspecting fire alarm systems, access control, intercom systems, and other fire protection equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and program fire alarm systems, access control, intercom systems, and other fire protection equipment.
  • Inspect and service our products to ensure they're functioning correctly.
  • Complete and return inspection reports promptly to our clients.
  • Provide technical support and operational training to customers to ensure they're getting the most out of our products.
  • Ensure a positive experience for customers and end-users by providing excellent customer service.
  • Read and understand engineered drawings, specifications, and manuals to ensure accurate installation and maintenance.

Requirements and Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Service Technician in the fire alarm industry.
  • Electronics diploma or equivalent, or documented trade qualification.
  • Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) Registration or similar qualification.
  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work on ladders and scaffolding.
  • Valid and clean motor vehicle license (G License).
  • Knowledge of our systems and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel are assets.
