Job Summary:

We're seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. As a key member of our building services team, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing air conditioning and refrigeration systems throughout our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems, including chillers, cooling towers, and associated equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and inspecting equipment, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Check and maintain air handling units, including noise, vibration, leaks, and performance.
  • Coordinate maintenance planning and schedule emergency work on HVAC equipment.
  • Order and manage inventory of parts and supplies.
  • Respond to maintenance requests and rectify issues within your skillset and experience.
  • Assist other team members with maintenance and project requests as required.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 Diploma
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in HVAC/Refrigeration maintenance
  • Registered member in good standing with Skilled Trades Ontario
  • Valid ODP Certification
  • G2 Gas Technician license (G1 Gas Technician License Preferred)
  • Strong familiarity and comfort with central chiller plants and controls
  • Familiarity with commercial restaurant refrigeration systems is preferred
