Job Summary:

The Canadian Red Cross is seeking a skilled Healthcare Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Community Health Program, you will play a vital role in coordinating the delivery of health equipment and services to individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Occupational Therapists to coordinate the day-to-day delivery of the Health Equipment Loan Program.
  • Liaise with hospitals and long-term care facilities to ensure seamless delivery of equipment and services.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and statistics in accordance with program policies.
  • Provide administrative support, including financial transactions and communication with the public.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education or diploma in a health-related field.
  • 1-2 years of job-related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency and administrative skills.
  • Ability to work with volunteers and seniors, with a valid driver's license and satisfactory driver's abstract.

Working Conditions:

  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driver's abstract.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment screening process, including a satisfactory Enhanced Police Information Check (E-PIC).
