Toronto, Ontario, Canada Task-co Building Maintenance Inc. Full time

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Heavy Duty Cleaner to join our team at Task-co Building Maintenance Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in our office building and various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures

Requirements:

  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and reliability
