Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Deli City Cafe & Catering. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and sanitize all kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, and equipment, to maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Handle and store cleaning products in a safe and responsible manner.
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, ensuring that all products are properly labeled and stored.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and tidy kitchen environment.
- Sharpen kitchen knives and maintain a clean and organized knife station.
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, ensuring that all produce is handled and stored safely.
