Job Title: Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Responsibilities and Required Skills

  • Assist in maturing and improving cybersecurity operations, practices, controls, and architecture to protect data and technology assets.
  • Identify security vulnerabilities and develop action plans to address them, ensuring the security and integrity of our systems.
  • Conduct security reviews of new technologies and systems, analyzing business impact and risk based on emerging security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and maintain reports, scorecards, and metrics related to cybersecurity operations and initiatives.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests, and assist with the development of remediation action plans.
  • Deploy, integrate, and configure new security solutions, and enhance existing security solutions to ensure optimal performance.
  • Review, analyze, and update documented security practices, procedures, processes, and controls, and assist in the development of new practices and procedures.
  • Design, deploy, integrate, and configure new security solutions, and monitor and fine-tune advanced threat detection technology controls and practices.
  • Assist with security incident response and recovery efforts, coordinating communication between teams and stakeholders.
  • Investigate security breaches and intrusions to determine the root causes and extent of the breach.
  • Conduct server forensics, network forensics, log analysis, and malware triage in support of incident response investigations.
  • Facilitate the ongoing Cybersecurity awareness program and assist with training programs.
