Job Summary

Thind Transport Services is seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Route Optimization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination and transporting goods and materials over various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning and Optimization: Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Customer Service: Provide professional customer service to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Load Management: Safely load and unload cargo, and ensure the security and safety of the cargo during transit.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Will train, or equivalent experience.
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
Work Environment

As a Truck Driver - Route Optimization Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced transportation environment, with regular travel and varying weather conditions.
