About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at TDOT BUILDERS GROUP LTD. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity of our buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience.
  • Bondable.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent judgement and reliability.
  • Team player with strong punctuality skills.

Work Environment:

This is a permanent, full-time position with 35 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
