About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Anejo Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to our menu and quality standards.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, minimizing waste and optimizing stock levels.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Inspect kitchens and food service areas, ensuring a clean and safe environment for our customers and staff.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with our kitchen team to achieve our culinary goals, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive excellence.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Qualities: Dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, and time management skills.
