About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Carpentry Supervisor to join our team at Skookum Scaffolding Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our carpentry crew, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of carpentry crew members, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Prepare and submit reports on project progress, including any issues or concerns.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities, including material requisition and equipment setup.
  • Oversee apprenticeship training and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure crew members have the necessary skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work outdoors in a noisy environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
