Strategic Initiatives Business Analyst

The Senior Business Analyst, Strategic Initiatives reports into the Director, Global Operations Strategy and supports all aspects of Global Operations on crafting, planning and execution of strategic initiatives. This role will also support the crafting and managing the Operations story across all Manulife businesses and teams.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct in-depth analysis of operational data, industry trends, and market dynamics to support strategic initiatives within the global operations function.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
- Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to drive actionable insights and recommendations for strategic initiatives.
- Develop and maintain detailed reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators and provide visibility into operational performance.
- Support the development and implementation of strategic plans and initiatives by providing analytical support and insights.
- Work closely with senior leadership to understand business objectives and provide data-driven recommendations to drive operational excellence.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in business analysis, strategic planning, and operational performance analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large volumes of data and drive meaningful analysis.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools and advanced analytics platforms.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to diverse audiences.
- Experience working in a global operations environment or supporting cross-functional strategic initiatives is preferred.
