Job Description

We are looking for an experienced developer with a strong background in data governance, reporting, and analysis. The successful candidate will have expertise in Unix shell scripting, Java, Hadoop development, Spark, Hive, SQL/RDBMS databases, data visualization, and statistical analysis.

  • Design and develop data governance and reporting solutions using Unix shell scripting, Java, and Hadoop technologies.
  • Analyze and modify programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging, and installing large-scale systems.
  • Develop custom reports and UI pages for reporting purposes, utilizing data visualization tools and statistical analysis techniques.
  • Automate manual processes using IT and business workflows.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 4+ years of Unix shell scripting experience.
  • 4+ years of Java, Hadoop development experience.
  • Expertise in Spark, Hive, and SQL/RDBMS databases.
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization, statistical analysis, and Excel spreadsheet development.
  • Working knowledge of data manipulation, mapping, and wrangling.
