About the Job

This role is located in Montreal and involves working closely with our stakeholders to enhance our model risk appetite and management framework definition. You will engage with model owners, users, and developers to maintain and oversee the SG AMER Model Inventory, participating actively in annual certification campaigns.

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine our model risk governance framework.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of the SG AMER Model Inventory.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of independent reviews performed by Validation teams.
  • Implementing and enforcing model risk governance processes.
  • Preparing presentations for regulators and internal/external auditors on model risk management topics.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum three years of experience in Model Risk Management or related areas.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (SR11-07) and industry standard practices.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
