Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Physics Programmer to join our team. As a Senior Physics Programmer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the physics engine for our games. You will work closely with our development team to ensure that our games meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement the physics engine for our games
  • Develop and maintain high-performance, multithreaded physics systems
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure that physics-related features meet the game's quality and performance standards
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in game physics and apply this knowledge to improve our games

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a Physics Programmer
  • 2+ years of experience with Havok
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Strong C++ design and coding skills
  • Experience with building multithreaded, real-time systems
  • Experience with writing systems that balance performance and maintainability
  • Passion for making great games
  • Experience with other physics engines
  • Development experience on game consoles (Xbox One/PS4)
