About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team at Atlas Copco. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and service on customer equipment, including compressed air systems, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Commission new equipment and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults to resolve issues promptly.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our customer base, identifying new business opportunities and maximizing time utilization.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest product knowledge and technical information through ongoing training and professional development.
  • Represent Atlas Copco in a professional manner, adhering to company standards and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Manage administrative tasks, including time sheets, work orders, and service reports, to ensure timely and accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate with the operations service manager and service salesman to identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of certification in Industrial Mechanic or equivalent mechanical knowledge/experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently, self-manage, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Good physical endurance and ability to work in various conditions, including frequent travel and occasional on-call schedules.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Experience servicing compressed air equipment is an asset.
