Gentek, a leading manufacturer and distributor of vinyl/aluminum siding and windows, is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join the team at our Burlington manufacturing plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee 30-35 unionized production employees in a fast-paced, unionized manufacturing environment
- Ensure safety, quality, and productivity expectations are met by monitoring processes and employee performance
- Conduct weekly safety management audits and lead 5 why investigations
- Assist operators with identifying and solving quality issues and work with the Quality Manager to resolve quality concerns
- Manage employee timecards using ADP Workforce Now and coordinate daily hourly rotation scheduling
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in manufacturing or operations preferred
- Minimum 5 years' experience in unionized lean manufacturing environment
- Superior analytical skills and effective leadership, coaching, and motivational abilities
- Ability to drive and organize work and strong written and oral English communication skills
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including days, afternoons, nights, and potential 12-hour continental shifts
Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on industry standards and location
