Job Title: Solutions Architect

About the Role:

Affinity Group is seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to lead the requirements, design, and architecture for our healthcare client's clinical system. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering to final implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Requirements Management: Document and monitor requirements needed to support the project, ensuring that they are well-defined, measurable, and achievable.
  2. Design and Architecture: Work closely with stakeholders within the organization and the vendor to ensure designs reflect both target states and architectural principles.
  3. Technical Review: Review project requirements and technical design to ensure adherence to existing organizational standards while collaborating with other solution and domain architects.
  4. Liaison Role: Act as the liaison between the project, technical, and architectural areas, facilitating effective communication and ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  5. Project Risk Management: Account for possible project challenges and constraints, including risks, time, resources, and scope based on design directions.
  6. Enterprise Architecture: Contribute to the Enterprise Architecture program where necessary, ensuring that the clinical system aligns with the organization's overall architecture and strategy.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  2. Experience: Minimum nine (9) years proven experience in the field, with a strong background in developing application, information, and/or technology.
  3. Technical Expertise: Minimum seven (7) years experience with TOGAF and Zachman frameworks, as well as a proven track record of providing end-to-end architectural solutions for systems and services.
  4. Leadership Experience: Experience acting as a lead IT Architect and leading teams, with a strong ability to communicate complex technical solutions to business stakeholders.
  5. Additional Requirements: In-depth understanding of off-the-shelf software, common hardware, and security, as well as sound knowledge of various client and server operating systems, databases, networking solutions, and middleware and communications platforms.
