Job Summary

MUFG Investor Services is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our team. Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and prepare working papers to support the preparation of financial statements.
  • Perform variance analysis and provide detailed explanations for any discrepancies.
  • Process daily bank cash receipts and allocate cash receipts to invoices on the sales ledger.
  • Provide support for the preparation of tax returns and assist with any queries arising through the taxation process.
  • Liaise with internal teams, including Client Operations, to resolve billing queries and aged receivables.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and incidental to the work described above.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in an accounting related role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain complex spreadsheets and perform data analysis.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment and deadlines.
