About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Manager to join our team at Giant Logistics Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and organizing daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and overseeing the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Planning: Develop and implement daily operational plans to ensure efficient transportation of goods and services.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all transportation activities are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of transportation staff to ensure high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Financial Management: Manage the transportation budget and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to senior management on transportation activities, including metrics on efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in transportation management.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
