About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Manager to join our team at Sewa Enterprise Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our transportation department, ensuring that all logistics and supply chain activities are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate Daily Operations: Monitor and assess the performance of our transportation team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize efficiency.
  • Monitor Department's Performance: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of our transportation operations.
  • Prepare Reports for Senior Management: Develop and submit regular reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improving transportation operations.
  • Supervise Staff: Lead and manage a team of transportation professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the resources and training needed to succeed.
  • Train Staff: Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our transportation team.
  • Manage Finances or Budget: Oversee the financial aspects of transportation operations, ensuring that budgets are managed effectively and efficiently.
  • Arrange for Shipping Documentation and the Tracking and Tracing of Goods in Transit: Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to ensure that all necessary documentation is in place and that goods are tracked and traced throughout the transportation process.
  • Ensure Transport Compliance with Regulations: Ensure that all transportation activities are in compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
  • Oversee the Scheduling and Dispatching of Vehicles and Goods: Coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, ensuring that they are delivered on time and in good condition.
Requirements
  • 5-10 Years of Experience: The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a transportation or logistics role.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: The Transportation Manager will be responsible for leading and managing a team of transportation professionals, so strong leadership skills are essential.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with senior management, suppliers, and carriers.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: The Transportation Manager will need to be able to analyze data and solve problems quickly and effectively to ensure that transportation operations are running smoothly.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: The successful candidate will need to be flexible and adaptable, able to adjust to changing circumstances and priorities.
