Job Title: Engineering Design and Drafting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Design and Drafting Specialist to join our team at Alberta BTC Group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed engineering designs and drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure accuracy.
  • Supervise and lead drafting personnel to ensure efficient and high-quality work.
  • Develop and prepare design sketches and specifications for construction projects.
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects and prepare technical reports.
  • Consult with clients, engineers, and production specialists to establish product requirements and ensure compliance.
  • Lead and instruct groups to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in engineering design and drafting, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of CAD software and design principles.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
