\We're seeking a highly skilled Tunnel Safety Advisor to join our team on the Darlington New Nuclear Project. Reporting to the BOP CCW EHS Manager, this individual will actively promote a healthy and safe culture within the organization, ensuring compliance with regulations, safe work practices, and procedures.
\The ideal candidate will have a designation such as CHSO, CRSP or NSCO, along with 5+ years of experience in Health and Safety within Tunnel construction. They will possess knowledge of Tunnel and shaft regulations, experience working with Tunnel boring machines (TBM), and relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience in the Health and Safety field.
\This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated leadership abilities, and the ability to manage subcontractors' safety performance. The successful candidate will be comfortable with different work locations and job sites, able to lift at least 50 pounds, and climb ladders if required. We strongly encourage applicants who identify as Indigenous to apply.
