About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Radiochemist to join our team at Framatome SAS. As a key member of our Chemistry and Specialty Technology Business Line, you will play a critical role in the development and improvement of medical isotope technology and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of manufacturing methods for radioisotopes produced via target irradiation using a particle accelerator.
  • Apply strong theoretical knowledge and practical skills/experience in radioisotope production, target chemistry, separation chemistry, characterization, and synthesis for radiolabeled compounds/radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Collaborate with other subject matter experts in the nuclear power generation and medical isotope fields to effectively communicate and share knowledge.
  • Manage programs and projects related to radioisotope production and development.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in radiochemistry and nuclear technology. You should have a Bachelor's degree in Biological, Physical, or Applied Science, and an advanced degree in a similar field is a plus. You should also have at least 8 years of experience in a similar role and be ready to join our team to help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.
