The Opportunity:

PBS is unique in the industry because we view our customers as business partners, technology innovators, and friends. Our software can run all aspects of an automotive dealership with sales, service, inventory management, and accounting modules.

As a Project Management Lead, you will support the growth and development of our Project Management team through leadership, coaching, and teamwork.

This position is based out of our Calgary office. You will spend 50% of your time in the office and 50% of your time traveling to customer sites throughout North America as part of the pre-installation and installation team.

This role requires frequent travel to customer sites for Discovery, Install, and Follow-up visits.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and approving Project Management completion incentives
  • Reviewing and approving Project Management corporate credit card expenses
  • Ensuring the Project Management team follows established processes and procedures
  • Providing guidance, instruction, and corrective feedback to the Project Management team
  • Leading project teams to success by providing clear direction, motivation, and support
  • Identifying project goals, objectives, and scope
  • Creating project plans outlining tasks and timelines for completion
  • Identifying potential risks and mitigating them before they negatively impact the project
  • Solving problems that may arise during a project
  • Communicating with project teams, including internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing relationships between project teams, internal, and external stakeholders
  • Monitoring project progress and ensuring projects remain on schedule

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two PBS Certifications
  • Good understanding of all aspects of project management processes and workflows
  • Ability to provide constructive criticism and feedback for ongoing training and development
  • Effective communication skills to convey expectations and project information to project teams, internal, and external stakeholders
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks, timelines, and resources simultaneously
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
  • Adaptability to adjust plans and strategies to keep projects on track
  • Able to work collaboratively with project teams to achieve goals
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the USA a minimum of 2 weeks per month; valid passport and/or US visa (if applicable), and valid full class driver's license required
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays, as needed
  • Ability to work non-standard hours, as needed

We offer competitive compensation, benefits, and career growth opportunities. The estimated salary for this position is $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
