Academic Emergency Physician Opportunity

McMaster University's Department of Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences invites applications for an Academic Emergency Physician position. This is a full-time faculty position for a period of three years, renewable based on performance and departmental needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the academic mission of the Faculty and Division of Emergency Medicine
  • Develop and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate educational programs
  • Participate in departmental and divisional educational activities
  • Hold a proven track record in education and research
  • Meet the requirements for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC or equivalent) in Emergency Medicine
  • Hold a valid license to practice medicine in the Province of Ontario

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience as an Academic Emergency Physician
  • Strong academic and research background
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
