About the Role
Lantheus is a leading provider of innovative diagnostics, targeted therapeutics, and artificial intelligence solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Distribution Center Operations Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement changes to increase and improve productivity, efficiency, and accuracy in the distribution center.
- Handle radioactive and pharmaceutical products in accordance with current regulations and guidelines.
- Ensure timely and accurate handling of products covered by Standard Operating Procedures.
- Promote compliance and maintain a strong understanding of relevant policies, internal procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate deadlines for deliveries and product movement on the dock.
- Manage distribution center inventory and submit reports in a timely manner.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, encouraging effective communication among team members.
- Examine and resolve operational problems, including security and service issues.
- Maintain proper storage conditions for products, including temperature monitoring.
- Adhere to security procedures and oversee equipment security.
- Contribute to projects and audits of the distribution center.
- Adhere to safe work practices and may work overtime to meet customer service objectives.
- Actively participate in implementing Lantheus values and take on additional tasks as needed.
- In the absence of the distribution center manager, this role will oversee day-to-day operations, complete tasks, and communicate with customer service and courier services.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Five years of experience as a supervisor and in warehouse/logistics management in a highly regulated environment, preferably in the medical imaging or pharmaceutical industry.
- Bilingualism.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in an autonomous position with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational skills and proven leadership abilities.
- Multi-tasking experience and ability to prioritize internal and external customer needs.
- Life truck license.
- Knowledge of GMP and assets.
- Transport certification of dangerous goods (Class 7).
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel.
- Ability to lift loads up to 23kg (50 lbs).
