Job Summary

First Steps Academy Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Early Childhood Supervisor to lead our child development and education programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote the well-being of children
  • Lead activities that foster learning and development, including storytelling, singing, and outings
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents and guardians
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of other early childhood educators and assistants
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues and community service providers
  • Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in early childhood education
  • Knowledge of licensing regulations and child development principles
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and community service providers
