About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Developer to join our team at Arc'teryx. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for managing our most complex and technical products from design to production readiness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of our most technical and complex products, ensuring they meet Arc'teryx design intent and brand integrity requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Design, Raw Materials, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Production, and Quality departments, to achieve commercial viability of designs.
  • Partner with Design, Pattern Making, and Sample Sewing teams to ensure concepts and prototypes meet established function, fit, quality, and construction standards.
  • Support and coach Product Developers and Product Development Assistants, providing guidance on effective problem-solving and discretionary decision-making.
  • Compile product materials and construction information, maintaining accurate database documentation of BOM information and technical specifications.
  • Execute to calendar deliverables, including concept sample and prototype development, material validation, initial quality evaluation, and approval requirements.
  • Contribute to the creation and evolution of construction standards in conjunction with the Product Integrity team.
  • Work with Merchandising, Design, and Brand Marketing teams to ensure external product communication accurately reflects model requirements and specifications.
  • Communicate opportunities for process improvement, driving evolution within our Product Creation process.
  • Liaise with cross-functional departments to provide development support, facilitating cross-departmental problem-solving.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Developer with a strong background in technical design development. You will have a comprehensive understanding of design intent, product aesthetics, construction, 3D form study, production, and fit.

You will have a complete understanding of the product lifecycle process, from ideation to consumer, and a strong knowledge of raw materials, technical construction, and sourcing. You will be familiar with key tools, including Adobe Suite, Rhino, Solidworks, or similar software.

You will be a detail- and accuracy-oriented individual with strong organizational skills, demonstrating initiative, agility, and commitment. You will be proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions, and you will effectively balance autonomy and collaboration.

You will thrive in a fast-paced, diverse, and ever-evolving environment, inspiring breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement. You will have a proven mentorship ability and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of CAD $91,000 - CAD $114,000, a bonus program, and a comprehensive benefits package. You will have the opportunity to work on complex and technical products, collaborating with a talented team of product developers, designers, and engineers.
