Retail Business Development Manager

Acosta Sales & Marketing is the leading North American integrated marketing and sales agency, specializing in sales, training, and experiential solutions.
We are seeking a highly motivated District Manager to join our innovative, growing company. This role is responsible for building and maintaining a team of Sales Representatives (mix of full and part-time employees).
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of prior management experience in retail, merchandising, training, sales, and/or field marketing.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Sales Representatives and driving sales in Big Box and Grocery accounts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as the main point of contact for the Sales Representatives in their assigned district.
- Final interviewing and hiring of team members, managing all aspects of their training, scheduling and execution of visits, completion of all reports, and overall performance of the team to goal.
- Managing field performance results and establishing team and individual performance objectives with a high level of accountability.
- Formulating plans to achieve district and program results based on data analysis.
- Providing regular insights and competitive intelligence to client and field teams for their district.
- Offering coaching, mentoring, and support to ensure business results are met and exceeded throughout the district.
Additional requirements include strong computer skills utilizing the internet, email, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), as well as a valid driver's license and willingness to travel within and outside your territory when required.
