We are seeking a skilled Painter, Maintenance to join our team at Stanmore Equipment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and clean surfaces to be painted, including repairing cracks and holes.
- Mix and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
- Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging as needed.
- Operate airless spray equipment, brush painting, conventional spray painting, multi-ratio pump spraying, and roller painting.
- Perform surface preparation tasks, including water/hydroblasting and sandblasting.
- Specialize in coating and application, including aggregate painting, surface gilding, metallized coatings, and paint spraying.
- Work with wood finishes, including glazing.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in painting and maintenance.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to distinguish between colors.
- Reliability and strong teamwork skills.
This is a permanent, full-time position with 35 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
