Job Title: Painter, Maintenance

We are seeking a skilled Painter, Maintenance to join our team at Stanmore Equipment. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, and repair cracks and holes.
  • Painting and Finishing: Mix paint to desired color and texture, and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Equipment and Machinery: Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging, and operate airless spray equipment, brush painting, conventional spray painting, multi-ratio pump spraying, and roller painting.
  • Surface Preparation Experience: Use water/hydroblasting and sandblasters to prepare surfaces.
  • Coating/Application Specialization: Apply aggregate painting, surface gilding, metallized coatings, and paint spraying.
  • Wood Finishing Specialization: Apply glazing.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
  • Work Setting: On-site customer service.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Personal Suitability: Reliability, team player, and ability to work in a permanent position.
