Job Summary

The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada) seeks a highly skilled Procurement Strategist to join its team. As a key member of the Strategic Sourcing Group, this individual will be responsible for advancing procurement efficiency and supporting the execution of sourcing needs across the Bank.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and manage sourcing requests and purchase orders, collaborating closely with the sourcing team, contract managers, and vendor managers to ensure accurate and timely execution.
  • Manage low to medium-risk sourcing requests with due diligence, balancing cost, quality, and supplier reliability.
  • Lead and support all SSG purchasing tools, serving as the go-to expert on S2P process, e-Auctions, RFQs, and contract compliance within the Ariba platform.
  • Ensure data integrity across purchasing systems and develop actionable insights to enhance procurement efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Engage actively with Strategic Sourcing functions to identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving measures.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience of Strategic Sourcing practices.
  • Previous experience working in the procure to pay and source to contract process.
  • Proficiency with procurement tools, especially Ariba, including e-Auction and RFQ setup and execution.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present large datasets for informed decision-making.
