Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Nova Liquor Inc. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our retail store.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively manage and assign tasks to sales staff to ensure optimal store performance.
- Order Merchandise: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of merchandise and maintain an adequate inventory level.
- Authorize Return of Merchandise: Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and minimize labor costs.
- Sell Merchandise: Provide excellent customer service and promote sales through effective merchandising and display techniques.
- Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise in a professional and timely manner.
- Organize and Maintain Inventory: Ensure accurate and efficient inventory management to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Lead and motivate sales staff to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Setting: Retail business.
- Supervision: 3-4 people.
- Security and Safety: Basic security clearance.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, attention to detail, and walking.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, flexible, organized, team player, and dependable.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
