About the Role

Nasittuq Corporation is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at CFS Alert, the northernmost permanently inhabited settlement globally. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and inspecting equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in HVAC systems installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • HVAC certification and relevant licenses.
  • Familiarity with a variety of HVAC systems and components.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and provide effective solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary rate: $61.26 - $64.49 per hour.
  • Fly-In Fly-Out schedule with 8x8 rotations (8 weeks on site, 8 weeks off site).
  • $27 a day in Isolation Allowance for every day worked on site.
  • 40-hour work weeks with overtime opportunities.
  • Benefits package including medical, dental, disability, and life insurance.
  • 6% vacation pay on every check, and up to 6% pension benefits matching by employer.
  • Private accommodations and complimentary meals provided while on site.
