About the Role

Oakridge Landscape Contractors is seeking a skilled and reliable Landscape Construction Labourer to contribute to our team's success. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for various physical activities related to landscape gardening, including planting, laying, building, and maintaining high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with the Foreperson and crew members regarding tasks, schedules, and concerns.
  • Perform heavy lifting and labor-intensive tasks with a positive attitude and a focus on safety.
  • Work in various weather conditions and maintain a neat appearance while interacting with onsite visitors.
  • Operate power equipment safely and responsibly, ensuring proper fuel usage and reporting any damaged tools or equipment to the Foreperson.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, with a good command of the English language (verbal and written).
  • Valid G driver's license and a clean driver's abstract.
  • Ability to work long hours and have reliable transportation to and from job sites.
  • Strong knowledge of job safety and safe work habits.
  • Self-motivated, problem-solving, and a team player with a respectful attitude towards staff, clients, and on-site safety protocols.
