About the Role:

At MASS CONSTRUCTION, we are seeking a skilled Drywall Helper to join our team. As a Drywall Helper, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation of drywall sheets, loading and unloading construction materials, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from construction sites.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a construction environment is an asset.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a physically demanding environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
