Job Description

At YUMMY MARKET INC., we are seeking a skilled Retail Buyer to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for conducting market research, establishing relationships with suppliers, and managing inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research by analyzing reports and promotional materials to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Supplier Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Negotiations: Negotiate pricing, discounts, and transportation arrangements with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
  • Merchandise Planning: Determine the most suitable merchandise quantity and type to meet customer demand.
