We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Vergensie Ward. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications as prescribed by medical professionals
  • Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Feed or assist with feeding residents
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide personal care and support to residents
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Make beds and maintain patients' rooms

Requirements:

  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • 30 to 44 hours per week
  • English as the primary language of work
