About the Team

Self-serve marketing is a team of growth marketers responsible for acquiring, converting, and growing millions of merchants globally across Stripe's full suite of financial products. We're part of the Growth organization, a cross-functional team that delivers insights, algorithms, systems, and user-facing experiences that fuel Stripe's growth.

Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced growth marketer to help build and execute on our self-serve marketing strategy. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for driving revenue through conversion programming, leading strategic marketing initiatives, and executing personalized cross-channel campaigns and triggered programs to help our users adopt and get started with new products.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute scalable ML-driven email campaigns and personalized nurture programs to drive global growth.
  2. Design and execute email marketing experiments to test hypotheses, learn from results, and iterate on the approach.
  3. Set out measures of success, key metrics, and objectives for experiments and nurture campaigns, and oversee reporting and performance of initiatives to enable optimization.
  4. Partner with the Product Marketing and User Experience Research teams to understand funnel performance, identify customer pain points, generate ongoing insights, and ideate solutions to optimize the user journey.
  5. Partner with the Growth Data Science and Engineering teams to leverage data and ML-driven techniques to create sequenced and personalized scalable programs and user experiences.
  6. Partner with the Growth Analytics team to develop data-driven analysis, set and measure against targets, and develop reporting capabilities to monitor and analyze success.
  7. Maintain a high bar for marketing creative and copy, and partner with the Design team to deliver world-class campaigns with high-quality design.
Requirements

We're looking for someone with 7+ years of work experience, 5+ years of experience in a marketing role designing and launching campaigns, and 3+ years of experience in self-serve funnel motions, analyzing and taking action on the performance of marketing campaigns, writing marketing briefs, and leveraging data and ML-driven techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include 10+ years of work experience, 3+ years of experience in technology industry marketing, 3+ years of experience in Fintech or B2B Software industries, 3+ years of experience working as a marketing expert in a cross-functional growth team, 3+ years of experience creating and launching product upsell and cross-sell campaigns, and 3+ years of experience creating and launching campaigns globally, and localizing to adapt to market needs.

Hybrid Work at Stripe

This role is available either in an office or a remote location (typically, 35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office). Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users.

Pay and Benefits

The annual US base salary range for this role is $136,400 - $204,600. Additional benefits for this role may include equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses, 401(k) plan, medical, dental, and vision benefits, and wellness stipends.
