About the Job

We are seeking a Business Development Specialist to join our team in Factory Automation. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic relationships with customers.

Job Description
  • Assist in driving Factory Automation products strategy into the regions and support corresponding SSP's to drive sales measures.
  • Assist in volume/piece count responsibility for SCADA, OT2IT and TIA Systems offering (hub region targets/sales).
  • Assist in reviewing Factory Automation product pipeline (key projects/customers) and support RC's to win projects to drive hardware pull-through (incl. required pre-sales support eg.tender specifications system architectures, etc.).
  • Support in target customer visits and value-based product presentations, generate success stories/references.
  • Support in driving Regional Country to grow partner eco system SCADA/OT2IT/TIA (selection-qualification-onboarding).
  • Support in Consultative Selling approach for SCADA/OT2IT/TIA offering to increase regional country's "win rate."
  • Foster close collaboration and alignment with other sales activities in sales region (Verticals/RM's/TIA BD).
  • Collect market and customer requirements feedback.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of industry and market in Factory Automation.
  • Knowledge of overall Siemens Industrial portfolio is an asset.
  • Sales driven, dynamic, entrepreneur, strong interpersonal and communication skill, and ability to promote value and customer relationships.
  • Understands business plans and business development processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated business acumen in balancing customer and business requirements, i.e.: financial, strategic & tactical thinking.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaborate in a team environment.
