Senior Tax Staff Opportunity

Baker Tilly WM LLP is a leading midsize accounting and advisory firm seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Staff to join our US Corporate Tax practice. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in helping our clients navigate complex tax obligations and develop innovative tax strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare U.S. corporate and partnership tax returns for multinational clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Conduct in-depth tax research, analyzing U.S. cross-border tax issues and drafting technical memos to address specific client matters.
  • Perform state nexus analysis and stay up-to-date on the Canada-US Tax Treaty to provide expert guidance to clients.
  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement effective tax planning strategies, leveraging expertise and knowledge to drive business growth.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field, such as accounting or finance.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in tax compliance, planning, or advisory services.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
