The Canada Games Centre is a vibrant multi-sport community and recreation centre located in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We offer a wide range of programs and services to promote physical literacy, fitness, and wellness. Our goal is to provide a safe and inclusive environment for people of all ages to participate in sports, recreation, and community events.
Our Summer Camp Program
Our summer camp program is designed for children aged 5-12 and takes advantage of all that our state-of-the-art community recreation facility has to offer. Typical days include swimming in our aquatics centre, playing physically active games on our hardwood court space, running laps on our indoor track, crafting and classroom activities, and outdoor play opportunities on our playground.
Key Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children.
- Knowledge of various sports, arts & crafts, and other camp activities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal, written, and oral communication skills.

- A competitive hourly rate of $17.25 (plus 4% vacation pay).
