Job Summary


Mackenzie Health is seeking a skilled Nutrition Care Specialist to join their team. This role involves providing nutritional care for patients, collaborating with healthcare teams, and ensuring effective and current dietetic practice.


Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement nutrition plans for patients based on established standards of care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in nutrition and dietetics.
  • Contribute to a safe and inclusive environment for patients and staff.

Requirements



  • Current registration and good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
  • Graduate of a recognized university program in food and nutrition, with successful completion of a Dietetic Internship or Practicum.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Two years of acute clinical experience, with previous experience in Critical Care an asset.

Compensation


The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
