Job Summary

: We are seeking a highly motivated and creative educator to join our team as an IB MYP Art teacher. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about inspiring students to reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities:

* Teach IB MYP Art and Design courses to middle and high school students
* Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and improve teaching practices
* Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Art Education or a related field
* BC teaching certification or ability to obtain
* Experience teaching IB MYP Art and Design courses
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience teaching English Language Learners
* Familiarity with BC's curriculum
* Training in teaching English language learners
* Experience living overseas or working in an internationally minded workplace
* Coaching experience
