Job Title: Test Automation Developer - Quality Assurance Expert

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Developer to join our team at Accreditation Canada. As a Test Automation Developer, you will be responsible for designing and building automated tests to ensure the quality of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the QA team, developers, and product owners to understand user scenarios and transform high-level requirements into optimized automated tests.
  • Advocate for and contribute to achieving the highest possible level of automation for all test cases in support of delivering quality software.
  • Lead the effort to automate manual test cases using automation best practices.
  • Build and maintain a stable test environment for automated testing.
  • Analyze test results and submit quality defect reports.
  • Ensure automated tests are added to our CI/CD pipeline.
  • Develop and maintain a test results dashboard.
  • Take ownership of maintaining the suite of automated tests.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Solid background in software quality assurance, with 5+ years of experience as a Test Automation Developer.
  • Strong experience designing and building automated tests in various languages and technologies.
  • Must have experience coding with Java and Selenium, and using TestNG.
  • Must have experience building projects in IntelliJ, and using Git.
  • Experience in building automated tests for web apps.
  • Proven ability to take user requirements or manual tests and build a robust suite of automated tests.
  • Experience designing and implementing test reporting dashboards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in writing maintainable automated tests.
  • Experience working within the Azure DevOps environment.
  • Experience in the creation of Azure resources.
  • Experience in using a source code management system.
