Job Title: Test Automation Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Developer to join our team at Health Standards Organization (HSO). As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for designing and building automated tests to ensure the highest level of quality in our software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the QA team, developers, and product owners to understand user scenarios and transform high-level requirements into optimized automated tests.
  • Advocate for and contribute to achieving the highest possible level of automation for all test cases in support of delivering quality software.
  • Lead the effort to automate manual test cases using automation best practices.
  • Build and maintain a stable test environment for automated testing.
  • Analyze test results and submit quality defect reports, providing support to development engineers as needed to aid in defect resolution.
  • Ensure automated tests are added to our CI/CD pipeline.
  • Develop and maintain a test results dashboard.
  • Take ownership of maintaining the suite of automated tests.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality results.
  • Find innovative solutions to problems, leveraging your expertise and preparedness as a Test Automation Developer.
  • Communicate complex technical issues clearly to colleagues and stakeholders with varying levels of technical knowledge.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams and take initiative when needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Solid background in software quality assurance, with 5+ years of experience as a Test Automation Developer.
  • Strong experience designing and building automated tests in various languages and technologies.
  • Experience coding with Java and Selenium, and using TestNG.
  • Experience building projects in IntelliJ and using Git.
  • Experience building automated tests for web apps.
  • Proven ability to take user requirements or manual tests and build a robust suite of automated tests.
  • Experience designing and implementing test reporting dashboards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience writing maintainable automated tests.
  • Experience working within the Azure DevOps environment.
  • Experience creating Azure resources.
  • Experience using a source code management system.

  • Knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience working with clients/organizations in the health-care sector.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work well independently or in a cross-disciplinary team, remote or co-located.
