Aversan Inc. is a distinguished Engineering Firm specializing in the Aerospace and Defense sectors. We are currently in search of a Mechanical Assembler to support our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing materials for welding through various techniques, including chemical etching.
- Executing drill press tasks such as drilling, tapping, and adhering to drawing specifications, along with counterboring and countersinking.
- Installing components like bushings, bearings, helicoils, and rivets.
- Setting up and testing assembled products in accordance with established testing protocols.
- Operating machinery including brake presses, punch presses, and various types of drills and saws.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial fabrication, fitting, or assembly, with a proven ability to assemble intricate, high-precision machined components according to specifications.
- Capability to fabricate and/or assemble complete tube and hydraulic assemblies based on technical drawings and hydraulic schematics.
- Experience with both conventional and programmable brake presses is advantageous.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting work orders and engineering drawings.
- Ability to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and various lifting devices.
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as height gauges, dial indicators, and micrometers.
- Skilled in using electric and pneumatic tools, as well as riveting and tapping machines.
