We're seeking a talented and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team at The Shoe Co. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in leading our store environment, fostering inclusivity, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a dynamic team to achieve store objectives, including in-store sales, web orders, and recruiting.
- Coach and develop team members to excel in their roles.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to execute operational excellence and drive business results.
- Recruit, manage, and develop top talent who share our passion for shoes.
- Model our values of Passion, Accountability, Collaboration, and Authenticity/Humility.
- Develop and implement agile business plans to drive results.
- Maintain effective communication with the Store Manager and team.
Requirements:
- Proven success in sales and profitability targets.
- Proficiency in computer use, including email, MS Word, and Excel.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in progressive retail supervisory roles.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including days, closing shifts, and weekends.
