DATA COORDINATOR ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Coordinator to join our team at Bartle & Gibson. As a Data Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our product data.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish and maintain communication with manufacturers to gather product data.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with manufacturer representatives to ensure timely and accurate data acquisition.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for manufacturers regarding data-related queries and issues.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers to ensure data compliance with company standards.
  • Coordinate regular meetings and check-ins with manufacturers to discuss data requirements and updates.
  • ETL from manufacturer data files or PIM into master PIM Environment (data acquisition).
  • Brand-specific reporting/dashboarding to guide forward-thinking tasks.
  • Product photography as required (training to be provided).
  • Establishes relationships between data partners and manufacturers.
  • Establishes relationships between manufacturer's data teams and Bartle & Gibson.
  • Normalizes data via Excel/Filemaker/Python for prepping files to inject into master PIM.
  • Supports ambassadors/training on Optimizely admin console.
  • Uploads customer product lists to website occasionally.
  • Website release testing and debugging.
  • Maintain a professional image in all customer and vendor engagements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills; ability to make quick decisions.
  • Attention to detail; ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information.
  • Proficient in using a personal computer, data entry terminal, and other common office equipment and software.
  • Flexible and willing to adapt to change.

REQUIREMENTS

  • College diploma in Business or Management Information Systems or equivalent education and/or experience Required.
  • Extensive Microsoft experience (Excel, PowerBI).
  • Experience working in customer or business relationships.
  • Knowledge of general scripting languages and programs (Python, SQL) An asset.
  • Understanding of relational databases An asset.
