About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Glass Installation Specialist to join our team at Norden Windows And Doors Ltd. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of glass installation and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the Type of Glass and Materials Required

You will be responsible for determining the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each installation project. This will involve working closely with our sales team to understand customer needs and preferences.

Measure, Mark, and Cut Glass

You will be responsible for measuring, marking, and cutting glass to ensure a precise fit for each installation project.

Position and Secure Panes in Frame

You will be responsible for positioning and securing panes in frames to ensure a secure and watertight seal.

Assemble and Install Prefabricated Glass, Mirrors, or Glass Products

You will be responsible for assembling and installing prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products as required.

Install Door, Window, and Other Hardware

You will be responsible for installing door, window, and other hardware as required.

Repair Glass Doors and Other Glass Structures

You will be responsible for repairing glass doors and other glass structures as required.

Assemble, Erect, and Dismantle Scaffolding, Rigging, and Hoisting Equipment

You will be responsible for assembling, erecting, and dismantling scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment as required.

Read and Interpret Blueprints, Maps, Drawings, and Specifications

You will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Physically Demanding

This role requires a high level of physical fitness and stamina, as you will be working in a fast-paced environment with frequent lifting, bending, and standing.

Bending, Crouching, Kneeling

You will be required to bend, crouch, and kneel frequently to access and install glass and other materials.

Work Term: PermanentWork Language: EnglishHours: 40 hours per week
